Hi, I'm Mrs.
Evans. I teach Grade One and Kindergarten! I really enjoy
spending time with my family, buying children's books,
being outdoors, and curling up in my favourite chair to
read a good book. I absolutely love going to the beach,
shopping with my two daughters, and going to a movie and
eating a large popcorn with butter (all by MYSELF)! I love
to travel!! I moved a lot as a child, and I enjoy keeping
in touch with family and old friends. I also have a sister
in Australia that we visited in 2008, (that's where I went
to high school)! The students in my class enjoy learning
about themselves and their world! We read and write around
the classroom with all kinds of books, poems, and pictures.
We have fun centres AND learning centres. We learn how to
'make good choices', both inside and outside of the
classroom. We work hard on improving our reading, math, and
writing, each and every day that we come to school. The
most important thing, however, is that we learn how to work
and play together with respect and kindness. The friends
that we make in Grade One could be with us a long time! We
work hard to feel safe and happy at
school!!!!
