Hi!
I am Mrs. Franklin. I have been a member of the
Stenersen community since the age of 6 (with a few
years off in between). I was a Stenersen studentfrom
grades 1 - 4 and then returned to Stenersen as a
teacher in 1993. After teaching Grades 6/7 for
ten years, I have switched to Grade 3. This is a
wonderful age group because my students have tons
of energy and enthusiasm (which keeps me
young).
I
love teaching at Stenersen! It feels like a closely
knit community (especially when we get together for the
Stenersen BBQ each June). Some of my favourite
activities in the classroom are doing Science
experiments and using our imaginations to create
wonderful pieces of writing.
